Crazy racist white lady goes on epic rant at Michael's

...all because the cashier offered her the opportunity to buy a bag to hold her larger purchases. Apparently the entire rant was almost 30 minutes long, but the video only captures 10 minutes. You owe it to yourself to watch the whole thing. This woman is completely out of her mind.

She's obviously either mentally ill or high. They should have just ignored her and called security. The constant arguing with her only escalated things. You shouldn't engage with a person like that. It always backfires.

Exactly this. There was a customer once where I work who was wrong about an item he wanted to purchase.  A manager talked to him twice and he was so nasty. And the way he was behaving, he seemed like he wanted to get other employees involved in his displeasure.  When he seemed like he was speaking to me, I ignored him because I was aware he was just going to rant and yell at me. And apparently he acted that way everywhere he went.

I heard somewhere it was closer to 45 minutes.   

 

I don't understand why the management allowed it to happen for so long, security or the police should have been called LOOOOONG before that.

I read an account where the store indeed called the cops but they took over 45 minutes to get there.

Yeah, in the video you can hear people repeatedly say throughout her harangue that the cops had been called, but they never do arrive.
