I saw the show at Ford's Theater which is similar to the Schoenfeld. I sat in the mezz on the aisle about 3 rows back and I thought the seat was fine. I have seen other shows in the Schoenfeld and have felt the first couple rows of the mezz are fine. It's a smaller house so most of the mezz will be fine. Most of the action takes place center stage.
How high is the stage? I love sitring close, and I dony want the stage to be so high to where I miss action.
A Canadian in NYC said: "I'm looking at the mezz seats for the Gerald Schoenfeld theatre; I've never seen a show there before. Would the second row mezz be good? I need an aisle seat to stretch one leg out so the front row mezz never works for me. Or would mid orch be better?
I sat in the 5th row center mezzanine yesterday and the view was excellent. The Schoenfeld is a relatively small theater, so most any seat will be good. Here are 2 pics:
