22/11/63 The Day America Changed

Many historians say 22 November 1963 is the day America changed for good from innocence. Not only with the shooting of beloved President, but the shenanigans of the government coverup. 

I hope someday to find out who really killed JFK.

Mafia? Cubans? Russians? CIA? FBI? LBJ? Judy Campbell?

I do not believe in conspiracies, but LHO obviously didnt do this alone.

Petra, why don't you believe LHO acted alone? I ask as somebody who most often agrees with your posts, so I'm confused why you're espousing this conspiracy...

I think it's generally agreed that Lee shot him. The question is whether he was acting completely alone or on behalf of someone else. 

A few years ago I visited the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas, and they do an admirable job of presenting a balanced view of what happened on that day - grounded in the known facts, but respectful of alternate theories as to what happened. I learned that an acoustic analysis of the existing films - commissioned by Congress - indicated with high likelihood that there was an additional shot, for which no bullet was ever (officially) found. Obviously, Oswald's death at the hands of Jack Ruby is very strange, and I think it's understandable that some people think we don't have anywhere near the whole story.

But maybe Oswald was just a desperate misfit and Ruby a groupie of the police who wanted to make himself part of the biggest law enforcement story of the decade. I'm not sure we'll ever know any better than we do now.

I think LHO was part of it, but was working for someone. Who it was?

Mafia?  Giancana, Roselli rigged the election for Joe Kennedy and wanted favours, but RFK was coming after them. Jack Ruby had mafia ties as well. They rubbed out the witness, that is a Mafia tactic. Plus they shared a Mistress

Cubans? Bay of Pigs, Castro Assasinations Attempts

USSR? see Cuba, and also humiliated in the Missile Crisis.  LHO defected to USSR and met his wife there, He also met with USSR in Mexico weeks before death

LBJ? Kennedy Brothers used him to get elected, humiliated him, RFK marginalized him. He benefited most from his death and was able to cover it up as President.

FBI?  Kennedy Brothers were trying to get rid of the popular Hoover. He had tapes of JFK with his mistresses and Mafia contacts. LHO was a paid informant

CIA? Kennedy Brothers were trying to reel them in,  JFK did not give them promised air support at Bay of Pigs and they were slaughtered. It is thought LHO was CIA doubleagent in USSR. LHO CIA many records on LHO still classified even though President Clinton demanded they be opened.

I thought everyone on a Broadway board would know that the ghost of John Wilkes Booth showed up in the book depository and talked Lee into it.

John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839. 
Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939. 

Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse. 
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater. 

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

Booth was born in 1838. Lincoln did not have a secretary named Kennedy. Can we please stop passing around these meaningless (and in some cases just plain wrong) coincidences that have been circulating for 50 years?

I was in second grade lined up in the hall PS 244 Brooklyn, Our teacher came out crying , They sent us home. We actually walked home by ourselves then. A couple of fifth grade girls were skipping up Snyder Avenue singing "President Kennedy's Dead" A couple of days later I saw Ruby kill Oswald live on TV,

That was one depressing Thanksgiving that this one may top.
