OK.  It's a true statement.  It's public information.  The market goes up and it goes down.  Let's see what happens over the longer term.  I'm willing to wait.

Very true.

The thing about the stock market and the economy is that they are cyclical.  Presidents and politicians may cause short term movements, but over the long term, they have no impact.  We have been in a long bull market and it will end and turn down.  That's just they way it goes.  Same with the economy - we've been in a long period of a growing economy and some day it will end and turn down.  No matter who is in charge.
