Community Theater - help!#1

I'm relatively new to NYC (moved a year ago), and I've been searching for a community theater group to perform with (non-paid of course). I play flute/piccolo so I'm not looking for an acting role.

I've done a lot of searching, but I have mostly only found professional or semi-professional stuff. Does anyone know of a local theater group looking for musicians? Thanks! :)

(If this is the wrong place to post, please point me in the right direction).

St. Bart's Players is a great group that has been around since 1927.  They are located on Park at 50th and they have a Facebook page.  I'm sure they'd be happy to hear from you.

You can also try this group:  https://www.afterworktheater.org/

They often stop by here when they have a new show.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
