I'm a big Van Hove fan and look forward to seeing Kings of War at BAM. However, since I don't live that close to NYC, I will have to be a little picky, especially when it comes to a 4+ hr show. Was wondering if anyone has seen it in Europe? What did you think?

Bumping this with a special request for those who are going to Thursday's performance.  I have tickets for Friday and am currently sitting on the far right center of the orchestra.  I am strongly considering upgrading. Can someone report back on Friday and let me know how important it is towards the center to enjoy this production?

Thanks in advance!

I found out recently that they're selling balcony seats, and wonder if front balcony (center) is better than rear mezz (side)...

I am a Van Hove fan, too, but when I saw that this was in Dutch with subtitles, I decided that was more than I could manage.

I hear that, and I was not the biggest fan of his Angels in America, but I still believe that he is a rare artist that shouldn't be ignored.

Doubt that anyone cares at this point but I saw this on Saturday night and it was THEILLING! Loved it.

I don't know where Ivo Van Hove finds the time. He has so much work out right now. We're going to see his production of The Fountainhead in Paris soon. So much good work coming from this guy.

I Usher at BAM and was dreading this but found this to be interesting. Yes the subtitles became tedious but honestly I never got bored despite the length of the play.
