Exciting! I missed it at the Vineyard and will be glad to have a second chance. As of

now (and this will certainly change), the theaters Available are the Cort and the Lyceum, yes? I could see either being a nice home for a small-ish play.

I'm kind of surprised to hear this. I loved the show at the Vineyard but it's definitely for a more intellectual audience. I didn't see it as being commercial, but what do I know? I am very happy to be proved wrong.

Great news! I really loved this play and this production at the Vineyard. I'm glad that commercial producers are still willing to take risks on new plays, especially by female playwrights.

Didn't we establish the Cort is under renovation? If Bandstand doesn't have the Jacobs than this does. Otherwise the Lyceum I guess.

Off topic, but this new season is insane in the amount of shows opening..Hope they all have a great run

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Can't see this lasting too long, even with Tony pickups.

I'm thrilled that a pool of investors believed enough in this play to give it a chance at the attention the commercial stage has to offer. I look forward to seeing it this spring.

I wonder if not the Jacobs, what other Shubert theater they want? If it's the Cort, why not announce it?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

No need to be a dick about it. I'm sure they know it's no Hamilton.  But you have to admire them for putting their money up for something they believe in. And this isn't Amazing Grace- it's a great play.

just my two cents. we don't need any additional unwarranted negativity around here.

Not doubting the assumption it's under renovation, just a quick question.

How long does a typical theater revamp take? Assume they started directly after Bright Star closed in June (let's say early July) and with Indecent starting in April, that gives them 10 months. Does a refurb take that long generally?

Again, I am genuinely asking.

I'm thrilled to see this show again and glad that the producers are taking a risk on new work. With Indecent and Significant Other opening in the Spring and Falsettos opening tomorrow, 'tis the Broadway season for work about gay Jews.

The producers aren't just taking a risk; they practically stated in the Times months ago that they expected it to be a write-off if they could obtain a theater. They just want it to reach a wider audience.

Is there something I don't know of going into the Golden? Isn't that a Shubert house? Perfect size
