I was looking at the Groundhog Day presale tickets available and seems to be a lot of the side tickets available...with some more expensive tickets in the centre.  Do you think it's usually better to wait for the actual date of sale for tickets and maybe get better seats?  It just seems like many seats have been blocked from sale.

I'd wait. This seems to be the new normal for presale and when they first go on sale to the general public. I also don't think this is going to be as big of a hot ticket, at least initially, as people are predicting.

Curious to see how this show is received.  I saw it the night prior to opening at the Old Vic and was seriously underwhelmed.  Charming performance by Karl, some clever illusions but the first 45 minutes or so felt completely static, the opening of the second act comes out of nowhere and the experience felt somewhat hollow.  Some laughs and certainly craft on stage but nothing as good as Matlida and I don't think it will survive deeper scrutiny.  This assessment sounds harsher than I mean it--I'm glad I saw it and it was diverting for its running time but haven't thought about it since.  I understand why Rudin pulled out.  Overrated and undercooked...I hope things improve on their way to Broadway.
