So tell us, "New Member": Do you think Patti Murin hit that high note in Wicked or not?

Who is Patti Murin?
It gets better, better, better...
The pain will let up, let up, let up...
If you fall just get up, get up, get up...
Cause there's another way!
OMG...I was a soloist for that song a few years ago in Chicago. LOL
"Hey friend..." became my catchphrase from everyone in the choir.

The pearl of wisdom above is what's known as a logical fallacy of the worst kind, a post hoc ergo propter hoc. Basically, it concludes that the shaited-on shaite on others as a matter of course. Who makes this shaite up?

"I read it in Washington Post
. Bullies are bullies and victims are victims.
It is common for kids who are bullied at home by an older sibling or abused by a parent to become bullies themselves at school. Domestic violence and bullying feed each other. Researchers have found that elementary school bullies are more likely than non-bullies to have witnessed domestic violence during their preschool years. According to a 2007 study of bullying in Japan, South Africa and the United States, 72 percent of children who were physically abused by their parents became a bully, a victim of a bully or both.
But taking out their frustrations on kids at school doesn't help bullies. Researchers have found that bullies who are bullied themselves have higher rates of depression, anxiety, anger and low self-esteem than kids who are only bullies, only victims or who are not involved in bullying at all.

It's reassuring to learn that bullies who suffer from spontaneous bullyosis have more self esteem than those who had it beaten into them.

Remember when you were a devout Catholic and Christian? You should tell us more funny stories about your students!
This now is the LEAST of your/our/my worries.
Let's again celebrate all things theatre, be true to yourself and be strong against adversity.
I might be far away but the fallout from this election will be felt around the world. It might feel personal-[in the USA] ,but it's not.

Oh look! Another who does not live in this country and has much to say....
Yep! Mr CA..What you are trying to say is that America is an Island and those outside either don't exist or are not allowed to comment on the appalling situation [for the world] you have created with this mockery of an election.
The world, through the media, will watch with great interest how America copes and we,the little people ,will try to stay afloat.
No wonder you are in such a ****in' mess with THAT attitude- and NO--you are NOT the number 1 nation you keep telling yourself.
Pick yourself up,dust yourself off---and prove it then.
Good Luck from Down Under.
PS Are you the one going to live in Rome?[aways get you and Jordan confused].Hope you don't feel compelled to contribute whilst there--rats leaving the ship--maybe it's not you.
I think that, by nature, you need to be more thick skinned when you participate in the arts- regardless of the art. Everything you do is judged and commented on by others. This is somewhat true in most work places but the arts are much more personal.
The people on this board are use to that feeling which I did not appreciate until I began to do sculpture. In addition, the people on this site really know their stuff regardless of their different opinions. I find it very refreshing.
