Haven't heard anything about Little Dancer in like two years.
Amélie is scheduled to open in L.A. in December and then on Broadway in the spring. It's a matter of time when the Broadway move gets announced. Keep waiting.
Rebecca Luker is at least still attached. She mentioned it on the Theater People podcast.
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
^ Not necessarily. It also always helps to actually work in the industry and/or be connected to, or friends with, someone associated with the property...
Also, just to echo what everyone else has said... Amelie is definitely coming to Broadway but spring would be surprising. I think it will be closer to early summer if what I've heard is accurate. Little Dancer wrapped up a successful workshop/reading this past week. A number of commercial producers are attached to both projects, and I imagine they already have much of the financial backing secured.
Of course, that's always the hope. Hence the use of the word "aiming," but I know they haven't reached full capitalization for a Broadway transfer and the deal for the venue of their liking is only tentative; not official. We'll see. It's more than possible... I'd just be surprised. That's all.
If I recall, there was an article stating that OYF! Was closing Nov 20. I know it was proven that it was'nt true, but perhaps it could be hinting that it will be gone this winter?
The Walter Kerr, Lyceum, Helen Hayes, Palace, and Studio 54 are vacant for the spring still. Plus, the Music Box and Longacre could potentially be vacant by the spring as well.

In what world would the Music Box be open by the spring? It's amusing to me how many either don't realize or believe the significant advance DEH is carrying over into its transfer. It will stay open into the summer. There's no question about that.
Okay good for them. It's also an unknown musical opening during the worst time with no stars in the show. They need good reviews, but even that might not keep them afloat. Plus it sounds like a snooze fest.
It's adorable how you think your uninformed opinion matters more than trivial things like advanced sales or word of mouth. Dear Evan Hansen won't be going anywhere any time soon.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Are you saying you haven't even seen it and you think it is going to close before the Tony Awards? It is far from unknown. There is a good chance it could WIN best musical and/or Ben Platt could WIN best actor. It is a fantastic musical. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you should see it before you make such a bold prediction. My opinion is that it is laughable to think it may close this spring. I would say of the new musicals opening this winter/early spring, it is the least likely to close this spring.
