I was on Matt Doyles website today and noticed that there was an announcement that he would be returning to the New York City stage in winter 2017, with more information to follow.
I wonder if its to Broadway with Brookylnite or Jasper in Deadland.
Oooor (and I know this may sound a little strange in the casting world) could he potentially be Chris in Miss Saigon?
I'd be shocked if Brooklynite has any future....but Miss Saigon could be interesting. Hmmm, indeed.
I was just thinking about him the other day, and how he's been absent from the stage.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
At the closing of Brooklynite, I overheard someone from the creative team telling a friend that they were definitely moving the show for an open ended off broadway run most likely at New World. I was not a fan of this show though, so hoping it's something else.

He posted that he'd be announcing something on Monday. I could see him being the alternate for Ben Platt in Evan Hansen, if the role is too much vocally for Ben to do in an open run.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
