Gilmore Girls Return Thread! |
When I watched Parenthood I missed Rory, and now watching the trailer for this, I miss Amber. Weird.
Huge fan, cautiously optimistic.
I've tried Parenthood a few times but just keep waiting for Rory and wondering why Lorelei would do some of those things lol.

Full trailer out! I started to choke up a few times. Even more excited now.

I didn't watch the first time 'round, but my wife always thought I was crazy for not wanting to. So, when we moved in February, I spent several weeks in the new house, painting, getting appliances, and such. It made the perfect show to have on in the empty house, since most of the story plays out in dialogue. I just LOVED it. My daughter turned three the week we moved in. She loves the theme song. She'll sing along, which always chokes me up. We watched the trailer together last night. She sang along with the song and then said, "Ohhh, Okay! Mee-yun (what she calls herself) happy! I like dis!" I know what we're all doing Thanksgiving weekend!
That's sweet Jersey. My 9 year old niece just started watching the series (anything adult goes over her head, still) and loves it.
When I have bad insomnia, I put this show on and it lulls me to sleep. You'd think rapid fire dialogue would keep you up but it soothes me for whatever reason. I think Kelly Bishop gives one of the best television performances. She says so much with one look.
