I know there has been a lot of discussion of Cynthia Erivo extending since tickets were only on sale through 12/18. I checked today, and tickets are on sale through 1/8. I checked everywhere and I couldn't find any mention of Erivo not being a part of the show until 1/8. She must have extended!!!

Thank you! I went ahead and bought tickets for Jan 8th.My wish has been to see Cynthia once more in TCP. Traveling quite a distance and early January is much more doable and cheaper than December holidays.

Does any know of any offer codes or anything? I really want to be at the closing night/Cynthia's last night but don't want to spend so much money since I've seen the show thrice already.

If they know in advance that is their/her last night, it probably won't have discounts. Usually that is something that only happens with the surprise closings.

The Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Broadway schedules just came out. Color Purple is the only one that has TBD next to it for Christmas and New Years.

some shows will post holiday schedules, but the actual holidays are left blank until they decide if they'll do a show that day. For THE COLOR PURPLE, they only have 6 shows scheduled for Christmas week with a show on Christmas Day. I'm sure they'll add another show that week somehow. The following week they have 9 shows, with a show on New Year's Day. I'd also doubt Erivo does all 9 shows that week.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

GAAAH I wish some info turns up soon. I moved my Falsettos tickets from Jan 8th (which is their closing night) to Jan 5th to accommodate TCP during my trip that weekend. Now if only Cynthia announces an extension.

Not sure there will be an official announcing. It has already been made public the dates Erivo is out on Telecharge.
Since tickets are sold through 1/8, she must be planning on staying through the 1/8. If not, I will be the first up request a refund.

Erivo's extended. There's a new list of performances she's scheduled to be out of in December. So she must have extended through Jan. 8.
*Cynthia Erivo will not perform on Saturday matinee and evening - October 1, Sunday - November 6, all performances November 15 - November 22; Friday matinee - November 25, Wednesday matinee - November 30, Wednesday matinee - December 28, and Sunday evening - January 1.
