She also says what was wrong with Carrie, how she approached Norma Desmond, and what Michael Wilson told the cast about Grey Gardens

Interesting learning why her Norma Desmond in SUNSET BLVD. was different from Glenn Close's.  Glenn followed the creative team's direction.  Betty slyly shifted the creative team's direction in with her own ideas.  Smart woman.

Sure thing.

Can those who saw both Glenn and Betty in the role clarify how Betty's was different?

I saw both BB(4x) and GC(2x) and while GC had her merits, she was really more over the top, very grand acting, GC was "We had Faces!" . Betty Buckley sang and sang and acted beyond amazing. While I may have been moved a couple times with GC, when BB performed "The Perfect Year", I cried more than once. It's a preference of course, I just think the best Norma is Betty always.
