I did a quick search and couldn't find anything - has anyone seen this? Interested to hear people's thoughts.

I'm curious about this as well. I am seeing it next week and would love to hear what others think.

I happened to be in atlanta this week and I ended up seeing it. The good: the creative team, the individual performances, and a great song called "Tonight Belongs to Us". The bad: pretty much everything else. The premise and way in which it was constructed seemed completely banal and hackneyed. There were a multitude of cringeworthy moments. Does it have potential? Maybe, but only if they make some major changes. Of course it's still in previews and they are hopefully using this time to fix its (many) problems, so maybe it will be great when (if) if hits Broadway, but...I have my doubts.

The show is amazing! If you're in ATL you should definitely check it out.

245601, I heard from a friend the same. That it was horrible and probably irredeemable.

Hi shill, thanks for joining us.

I saw it last night and didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. There were some really funny parts and great performances, but there were some horribly trite and/or cheesy parts.

It's planning a Broadway run. Just from the few clips I've seen, it looks cheap & boring.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Yep, "cheap and boring" pretty much sums it up. (Which is a shame considering the many talented people involved).

Disappointed to hear this! I adore Ashmanskas and Leavel.

This sounds like Disaster 2.0.

They really are the best parts, especially Ashmanskas.

I don't know that I agree with the "cheap and boring" assessment.  I rolled my eyes several times, but never felt bored during the show.

I've seen it twice.  It's great! Audiences seem to enjoy it.

When I saw it in its previews, Brooks' character kept making reference to Gregg Barnes, saying that her prom dress will "be designed by Gregg Barnes!" Which made it all the more confusing when a moment later her dress transformed into another dress Cinderella-style, a clear nod to William Ivey Long. Does anyone know if they ever changed the Gregg Barnes lines to say William Ivey Long instead? Because that didn't make any sense.
