I'm sad to see this smart show go, but it's not entirely surprising, given the poor ratings. I wonder if this is just the beginning of a major overhaul for Comedy Central's late night platform, given that Trevor Noah is also struggling.

I love Trevor Noah. It would be such a great loss. Especially since he is the only African American late night host currently.

Larry Wilmore is the WORST. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say! At least Noah is somewhat tolerable.

I've always thought Noah was more cringy than Larry ever could be. Sad. Another black voice talking about black voices being silenced.

Trevor Noah is South African, not African-American.
I guess the cancellation isn't surprising exactly but it seems rather abrupt to cancel a show and air the final episode three days later.

I couldn't disagree more. Noah is painfully unfunny, has terrible timing, and still comes off so awkward. The Nightly Show is an elegant and well-curated show that balances humor with serious issues.

I thought this was supposed to be a funny show. The one time I watched this show he was going on and on about how Europeans are the reason for most of the problems in the world. Of course I never turned it on again. Looks like a lot of other people felt same way.
