Good Luck getting that $150! Barbra was in FUNNY GIRL on B'way for roughly 18 months -so there were tens of thousands of PLAYBILLS printed. Granted, many were thrown away by theatergoers, but MANY Barbra fans kept theirs! However, there IS a definite rare Playbill -it is the one where Barbra is ALONE above the show's title. This occurred for several weeks - June/July of 1965 - between the time original leading man Sidney Chaplin left the show and the time when his replacement Johnny Desmond was formally hired. (During this period, Desmond was "trying out"for the role and his name only appears on a paper insert. Also worth mentioning: Barbra appeared many times with George Reeder -the understudy for the role of Nicky Arnstein).
