Hey guys,

I am looking for some tear-jerking male MT songs - either popular or less well known. I am struggling to find ones for males.

Things like:

Hard to speak my heart - Parade
Pretty funny - Dogfight
You don't know this man

That kind of vibe for men please

idk if these have the same vibe that you want, but these are pretty good ballads that are a little bit lesser known. I especially like "Funny" (the second to last one on the list)

Here are some songs that came to mind, varying degrees of tear-jerking, hopefully you can use them

"Bring Him Home" - Les Mis

"Lost in the Waves" - Out of Our Heads

"What You'd Call a Dream" - Diamonds

"Losing My Mind" - Follies (could be either gender)

"Larger Than Life" - My Favorite Year

These are the ones that came to mind, but I'll post more once I think of them. I too am a sucker for sad and emotionally draining show-tunes. Also, listened to "Pretty Funny" for the first time, and wow, added to my iTunes.

"Your Eyes" - Rent

"If I didn't Believe in You" - The Last Five Years

"Left Behind" - Spring Awakening

"Till We Reach That Day" - Ragtime

"Our Love is God" - Heathers

"Alabanza" - In The Heights

Also if youre okay with something Off-Broadway I would look at the music from Daddy Long Legs
