A Chorus Line Audition Advice

Hello all! I'm auditioning for A Chorus Line in about a month and was considering going for Val, Bebe, or possibly Maggie/others. I'm 5'5" and blonde, and not a high belter. Am I on the right track? Which female parts are both on the younger side (unfortunately not Sheila) and relatively low (preferably alto or a lower mezzo)? What audition songs would you recommend for those parts?
