I have to say, the continued drop in numbers at On Your Feet! surprises me.  I was not a huge fan of the show, but it seems like it would be very popular with tourists and it also has a very large international appeal.

The MSM catalog is not as iconic as one would think. I think their music is terribly dated and no where near as infectious or catchy as ABBA. It also isn't as well written or as etched into people's hearts like the catalog of Valli or King. It was good pop at the time but it doesn't hold up.

Gloria and Emilio are brilliant business people, which is why they are mega loaded. It's not all music money they have now.

Plus, the show is pretty terrible imho.

The die hards are showing up for CATS previews- I'm not convinced this level of attention will last, especially once the reviews hit.

Yeah, I'm happy for Shuffle, and wouldn't it be nice if Cats could have another long run?

I'm shocked Cats is selling this well, especially considering ticket prices were so high....

I haven't looked into CATS's prices but from the chart it states the top ticket was $197, which I presume to be the premium ticket price? If that's the case, that's cheaper than getting a Hamilton regular orchestra seat, which costs $199. I guess it all depends one's budget on whether ticket prices are high or not.

I do think a lot of folks who are Leona Lewis fans and CATS fans are buying previews tix. Plus it's the summer, which tends to be very good for Broadway.

Just thinking about it some more, the regular orch seat for Hamilton, which costs $199, is equal to or higher than the premium ticket price of 6 other broadway shows. I'm surprised premium tix for Color Purple cost $193 given it won best musical revival.

There aren't a ton of options for tourists. Not surprised CATS is doing well!

Along with On Your Feet, the Paramour numbers have really dropped.

Not that I think it's going anytime soon but I think there's something to note about The Book of Mormon's consistent decreasing numbers

Mormon is in year six and still performing to SRO, with last week's third highest average ticket and over 100% of its potential gross. No, it's not grossing in the $1.5-$1.6 million range as it once did, but it's still performing quite brilliantly.  If those are "declining" figures, may God only smite me with that kind of success.

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

I'm just thrilled with THE COLOR PURPLE's numbers again & again.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Nobody asked you to read "every thread on this board" but if you're going to make a comment about the trending grosses of a show, you could at least keep up with the weekly grosses discussions.

Cats's premium price is rather "reasonable," considering. If you on Telecharge to snatch a ticket for Dear Evan Hansen after opening, some premium tickets go up to $225, and Waitress's premium has steadily topped $250 even since its previews.
