The pause is now gone, I was able to purchase 2 orchestra seats. It seems only very rear orchestra or rear mezz seats left at this point, and not that many at all. Good luck to everyone that is still waiting.
The site was having ALL kinds of issues. I was 273 in line and got in pretty early, but after it let me through it would load a blank page. It finally would let me through, but the buy tickets button wouldn't load. After almost an hour of trying to get back in and having the same issue, it finally popped up and I grabbed 2 tickets.
Got tickets!! Row D in the mezz. So excited! Seeing the Fun Home concert the night before also! Do you think they are holding out on announcing some names so that there are some surprises?

I'm in row D as well! Left mezz! And it really wouldn't surprise me if they announce Lin is gonna be there, especially with the release of his new song.
Im in Row D of the Balcony. Not the best, but I am still glad I got in the room where... you can finish the line, lol.. If Lin attends it would make the ticket troubles worth it lol
Ugh! I totally forgot when tickets were going on sale. Waited in the queue for 45 minutes but it was sold out by the time I got through. Bummer - I really wanted to see Norbert. Congrats to all who were successful!

I was queued, but was kicked out and had to start over. When I finally got in, they were completely sold out. I'm trying to see if there will be standing room.
The website had ridiculous issues all morning, even with the queue. The line was paused for a time while they worked on whatever it was. I was in the queue at 9:02, and was still #129. When I got through, after refreshing the page repeatedly, all that was left was balcony seats. I don't mind the balcony at DPAC, because it actually gives you a really nice view and we're in row A.
I love how some people are hoping that Lin is one of the additional performers announced for this benefit, while I'm over here hoping that it's someone like Angela Lansbury.
There are still tickets available for the Fun Home benefit the night before, by the way.
It honestly is a pretty great lineup for an Orlando concert already. It's going to be really good. Sad that the site was so messed up, but hopefully the DVD is good.
Well that was a lot of fun. It wasn't perfect and there were some mike issues, but this was really a once in a lifetime experience.
Standout moments:
Jessie Mueller singing Beautiful
Anika Larson and Keala Settle singing Take Me For What I Am
Brian Stokes Mitchell singing The Impossible Dream
Chita Rivera singing All That Jazz (talk about incredible)
Liz Callaway singing Anastasia (what a sweet voice)
Priscilla Lopez singing Nothing
Andrea McArdle singing Tomorrow
Joshua Henry singing Slide Some Oil to Me
But the highlight of my night was....
Kelli O'Hara singing They Don't Let You In The Opera. I've heard the song before, but it brought the house down. She really does have the most beautiful voice that I've ever heard and she was truly hilarious and touching.
There were a couple of WTF moments like Darren Criss' strange acoustic rendition of Sugar Daddy that was sung to an older gentleman who bidded to be serenaded by Criss. There was also a strange barber shop quartet that didn't sound quite right.
All in all, it was a great night and it was so touching to see so many people come together to preach the power of love.
I agree there were def some positives and negatives. The sound was really bad. Overall it was a great night out. Brian Stokes Mitchell, Chita Rivera, Josh Henry, Jessie Mueller and Kelli O'Hara were the highlights to me.
