Will Big the musical be any good?

I live about 45 minuets from Plymouth and I see that Big the Musical is coming to the a Theatre Royal in Plymouth in November and that my local theatre. I just wonder if it will be any good? It's based on the Tom Hanks movie and the Broadway Musical production.

I saw Big on Broadway and quite liked the show and the score. However, I had the same problem with the musical as I did with the movie. I had a hard time with the young boy's decision to have sex with the older woman, even though he was now an adult in body. I felt the nobler thing for him to do would be to acknowledge that it wasn't the right time and hold off. But that's me. No doubt 13 year old boys the world over would have made the same choice. The mother's song near the end of the show is a beauty, and I admit the boy's song where he debates with himself over his choice was also quite lovely. I think that what I liked most about the show was that the kids in the cast and the adults were equally prominent, and given equally difficult moves in the dance sequences. I don't know that I've seen another show where the kids and adults were treated as equals in both the songs and dances. Perhaps Matilda?
