I know that lots of people who like musical theatre don't like the fact that far to much of the musical theatre in the West End or on tour at the moment is maybe a Hollywood film turned In to a musical or they turn a rock bands songs into a rock musical. Or they use lots of different pop and rock bands and make a juckbox mudical. Also I know that lots of people hate it that lots of UK touring theatre use star casting to sell tickets.
Anyhow. If you like a good pop rock musical based on a Hollywood film that has a star cast then The Wedding Singer UK tour is for you. It's touring the UK from Febuary 2017 until the Autumn of 2017. It stars Ruth Mardoc from Hi De Hi, Roxanne Palllett from Emmadale and the Rocky Horror show, Ray Quinn from Dancing on Ice, Greace the musical and Little Voice, Jon Robyn's from Spemalot and Avenue Q, Cassie Compton froM American Psycho and Les Miserables and Samual Holmes from Mrs Henderson Presents.
This will be it's second ever UK tour. I dint think it's ever been to the West end.
I was so sceptical about this when it was announced but one of my friends has informed me that it is one of the best things she's seen so now very interested!
I enjoyed this show, lots of fun, very 80s, full score. I hated the cheap and miscast last UK tour, I don't think any production will come close to topping the Broadway one.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
