If a show wins a Grammy are the performers considered Grammy winners? For example, does Daveed Diggs now have half of an EGOT?

No. The Grammy goes to album producer, composer, and lyricist. In the 50s, the Grammy went to composer and star.

Since 2012, the principal soloists on cast albums have been nominated/winning the awards. This past year was the first time the majority of the principal casts have been eligible.

Yes, actually. Not all of the performers, but the ones who are deemed "principal vocalists." For Hamilton, all of the principal cast were included and are now considered Grammy-winners. I believe it's usually not the full principal cast though. Last year, only Jessie Mueller was deemed a principal vocalist for Beautiful. Not sure exactly how it's determined.

The rules were changed a few years ago that the main performers do receive a grammy. One of the Hamilton leads, I believe Renee Elise Goldberry, said in an interview that she had no idea until the next day that she is now a Grammy winner.

Daveed is credited as a principal soloist on the album, so he technically is a Grammy winner

I saw a picture of Phillipa holding up a Grammy that said her name on it, so yeah. That means that:
Lea Michele, Jonathan Groff (2-time), Cristin Milloti, Andrew Rannells, Chris Jackson (2-time), Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, among MANY others are Grammy winners.

Jeffrey said that the change to award Grammys to those deemed principal soloists came in 2012, so I'm not sure if that list would actually be accurate. Daveed definitely has a Grammy because he has a whole Instagram series of people taking shots out of it.

Still, most of those people still would have won (J Groff and Chris Jackson both have only once, though). Everyone except Idina and Lea have a Grammy.

The Grammy website has a list of everyone who won. It also has the lists for the other nominated albums, which I find just as interesting to look at.

Sp Leslie, Renee, and Daveed are all halfway to an EGOT. And Miranda has an Emmy so he has an Oscar to go. If he continues composing for movies I imagine he has a good shot at getting a best original song Oscar eventually.

I've already assumed he will win an Oscar next year for Moana and become the third person ever to PEGOT (as well as the youngest ever to EGOT).

Here's the list of strictly the Best Musical Theater Album, and as previously mentioned - they only started adding principal soloists in 2012.

Not to mention that Steve Kazee, Billy Porter, and Jessie Mueller are halfway to EGOT as well.

They do now, thankfully. I'm still mad about 2013 when Annaleigh Ashford wasn't considered a principal soloist for "Kinky Boots" - she would be halfway to an EGOT as well.

unfortunately they didn't win any Grammys for the film and weren't eligible for any Tonys for the Broadway show. I'm not sure if they won a Grammy for the cast recording.
