Didn't see this posted anywhere and I know some had asked about the next batch of Hamilton tickets going on sale.

I was just on Ticketmaster for something else and noticed that January 31 - May 21 are listed as having an Amex Ceturion/Platinum presale date of 6/7 and general public sale on June 12. Hope this helps.

Looks like the cheapest ticket is $179.00

Did previous pre-sales specify Centurion/Platinum? Does that mean other Amex cards can't access pre-sale?

Also notable is a 4 ticket limit per order during the pre-sale and a 6 ticket limit for the entire Feb to May period.

The previous Amex presales were not limited to the fancy and expensive cards. I used my plain old green Amex. Not anymore!

Damn Hamilton, way to deal with your accessibility problem. I wonder how many tickets will be left after the rich folk with the expensive amex cards finish getting what they want.

Do you know what the dates are going to be for? If I buy a ticket for Feb 2017, I'll have to risk missing it for the snow. So, I might have to wait until June 2017 to see it :/

I just don't know if I should wait an extra year for it to come to Kennedy Center

Friend is an assistant for a rich guy who is very cool and has a black card. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to get me tickets which of course I would reimburse him for. So this is fantasy stuff… What are the best seats in the house that are not premium seating? Go for front mezzanine as opposed to orchestra? Any advice would be welcome.  And from what I can see on the Ticketmaster website it looks like they are selling tickets through May 2017 for the poster who asked. Looking at the "view from my seat" website other than the rear mezzanine there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house unless you are frankly really close and really far to the side…just saw on the Ticketmaster site that somebody has Orchestra seats for Lin's final performance at $9998 each… There has to be a special place in hell for a bastard like that…

I am reallly surprised that the producers agreed to this. The annual fee for the Centurion card is $2,500, and it's reserved for big spenders. The fee for the Platinum card is a "mere" $450. I imagine scalpers don't have a problem acquiring these cards, while someone like me can't qualify.

I've been a big proponent of this show since early days at the Publc, but this maneuver doesn't sit well with me.

Perhaps it IS their way of cutting  out more scalpers.  They likely DON'T  have those  elite cards.   And perhaps, seeing that fewer people do in general, this will actually allow MORE Hamilton tix be available for general sales.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'm good at rationalizing.  Doesn't mean there's any truth behind it at all. Or that I believe it.

There won't be any tickets left after the Amex presale.  Again.  Add me to the list of regular people bummed that once again there's no way to get tickets to this show unless you're rich, don't mind going deep in debt, have VERY generoous parents/loved ones, or have the time to sit in a cancellation line for 24+ hours. It's very discouraging.

There will be tickets left after the pre-sale, just like last time. They don't put them all on sale. Anyone will be able to get tickets as long as they're trying within the first 30 minutes or so.

The fine print via ticketmaster.

"Delayed delivery on all tickets: Print-At-Home - Print your tickets beginning January 3, 2017.
Will Call - Beginning at Noon the day of the show tickets held at Will Call can only be retrieved by the cardholder with original credit card of purchase and a valid photo ID with signature such as a state ID, driver's license or passport."

Delayed delivery is placed on sales with the idea it stops resellers from being able to access the tickets earlier than needed for the purpose of reselling.

Most scalpers cannot qualify for these cards. If they could, they wouldn't be scalping tickets.

The black card is close to impossible to get. The Platinum easier but still not easy.

There will be tickets available for the regular on sale. As aaaaaa15 previously posted, just be ready to go at 8pm on the 12th and know what date you want.

You'd also have to expect the resale market to be way less profitable a year from now. The OBC will be long gone and the Chicago and San Francisco shows will be up and running. I mean I have no doubt they'll sell out, but I just don't think you're going to see resale tickets at 8 to 10 times the face value.

I'm not sure that a) Producers hold back tickets for the general sale, and b) There wil be tickets left after the pre-sale for millionaires.

We we shall see.

Also, what weird timing! Instead of settling down to watch the opening number of the Tony Awards, we are supposed to be glued to our computers and phones, trying to grab tickets? Who came up with that plan?

In response to being able to get tickets as long as you try within the first 30 minutes: I had the ticketmaster site locked and loaded last time and was shut out. Tickets were available for resale by 10:06. Very frustrating.

They have done/there has been every other time.

Weird because I looked around for tickets about 45 minutes after (wasn't buying was just intrigued) and was able to find a number of tickets. Were you only looking for one date or something?

Even if they only sell for twice their face value, that's still a 100% profit.  More than enough incentive for the scalpers.  Guess we'll see what happens!
