Getting in shape for Brooke Wyndham!! Help!!!

I recently got cast as Brooke Wyndham in a local production of "Legally Blonde" and I am super excited. There's just one problem...I don't think I'm in shape for this role at all!

 
Now I'm not overweight or unhealthy or anything, I'm just not very fit, and would lose my breath with something like jump roping an entire song...which Brooke has to do while singing. I don't want to let anyone down and I know I can do it, but I need to get Whipped Into Shape if you will.
 

Does anyone have any workouts that could help me out with this? Any past experiences or advice?

I was in Whipped in Legally Blonde recently! Definitely start practicing early; jump-roping can be challenging in a different way than running or dancing is. Try jump-roping to "Whipped into Shape" to have a rhythm to follow, and then try to add in some singing. If you're also seeking alternative exercise, try something that will have jumping in it, like ballet. Break a leg!
