Eric Fanning Approved/1st Openly Gay Secretary of the Army

The Senate has finally approved Eric Fanning as the (first openly gay) Secretary of the Army.

This is another step in the right direction for LGBTQ persons. Secretary Fanning is a highly qualified and decorated Armed Forces representative and should be acknowledged and thanked. He is also a vocal supporter of transgender persons serving in the military.
