Rumored for the Broadhurst. I'm hoping it goes to the Music Box.

Not really an exciting season...we were quite spoiled this past season though, to say the least.

Really though? While it may be a Hollywood filled year there are also some original shows in the mix like DEH, war paint, Natasha, come from away and now in transit.

Speaking of original musicals, wasn't The Bandstand supposed to be coming this season too? Or is it DOA?

I was just looking at the 54 below calendar, and Laura has concerts scheduled there Nov. 28-Dec. 2, so I suppose that doesn't bode well for The Bandstand happening this fall. Sad.

Most theaters are taken for the fall already. They could still come in in the spring.

Yes--hopefully it does! I was still hoping for a fall run at the Music Box or Cort, though!

I feel like we would already know if The Bandstand was attached to Lincoln Center.

But I am very curious what the are cooking up!

Are we going to see The Hudson Theatre open this year?  Any insiders know anything?

I have no insider info but maybe Come From Away will go there.

So you're just guessing? And no way The Bandstand is going to Lincoln Center. They can smell a flop a mile away. And if they did produce a new musical it wouldn't be on Broadway.

I think I read somewhere the Hudson isn't supposed to be used for another season, but I might be making that up...

The only big revivals we know that are supposed to come in this season are Miss Saigon, Singin' In The Rain and Hello, Dolly, right? Dolly already announced the Schubert. Any chance one of the other two might end up at Lincoln Center? They are both transfers though, one from London and one from Paris, so I don't know, doesn't sound like LC. Same goes for Sunset Boulevard if that transfers...

The only other one on my list is Smokey Joes Cafe...

Best Little Whorehouse is most likely not coming in this season, at least not with the workshop cast. Kristin has Hairspray Live and then concert all through the season, all over the country, and well into the spring, and they are part of subscription series as those theaters. I can't see her canceling so many of them.

It is currently being renovated and will probably be available in early 2017.

>Any chance one of the other two might end up at Lincoln Center?<

None.

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

Whether or not they have been officially announced is irrelevant. They are, in fact, both coming to Broadway in spring 2017. Looking forward to it.

According to Cindy Adams, LCT is planning an adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird with Jeff Daniels.

Photograph 51:  Nicole Kidman and/or the producers may have decided to defer until the spring and full Tony exposure, although an unbooked Music Box must look very tempting.  It is hard to imagine that theater being dark for the fall.  The producers of Bronx Tale, Dear Evan Hansen, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses must be eying it for their shows.

The safe money is on Miss Saigon returning to the Broadway...

How long do we think paramour is going to last? Maybe Saigon or singin' in the rain will go there? Also I thought the Harry Potter play is going into the hudson. Or is it looking for a bigger house?

Why would those shows be eyeing the Music Box? They all have theatres booked.

Because the Music Box is better? Liaisons would be stupid to give up the Booth, though.

Oh, Aaron Sorkin's To Kill A Mockingbird is going to at LC? I hadn't heard that. That's a whole season away though, I'm pretty sure it was announced for the 17/18 season, and they won't let the Beaumont vacant for a whole year.
