Sorry for noticing this extremely late, but I find it interesting the current alternate also understudies Burr. It would be amazing to see that guy do Hamilton at the matinee and then go back at night to see him play Burr!

Luwoye was terrific. He's a great performer. Winters was unremarkable, but serviceable. I wrote a mini recap thoughts in the other Hamilton post. Generally the female trio was underwhelming. I think Mandy Gonzales fares well in typical melodramatic roles with songs that have long extended notes. Her voice sounded quite wobbly in Angelica's rather succinct and sharp lines. I'm curious to see how Karen Olivo does next week.

Oak has been out a lot the past few months. It's very hard for me to picture Jevon in the Mulligan role -- he doesn't look like someone who, when knocked down, would readily get the f*** back up again.
