The problem with the broke campaign narrative is that it doesn't take that long to catch up, which was shown in the 2012 election. Of course, Romney still lost, but who knows what impact it will have when DT's ads start running (and they will).

About half way into this article, there are details about how the fundraising is about to take off.

When looking at poll numbers, it's important to remember that not all polls are created equal. 538 ranks almost every pollster, grading them and showing their house lean. The folks at 538 haven't even attempted to make any sort of characterizations yet.

The Dems are supposedly trying to get Lin Manuel Miranda, among other pop stars, to perform at the convention. I guess they need to be prepared to possibly offset an appearance by Scott Baio at the GOP convention.

Step 4: scope out the RNC. Don't forget that Trump could be dumped and replaced by ????
