Visiting Los Angeles

I know we have several LA posters, so hoping you can help.  I'm going to be in LA May 9-12. We're doing Universal, Disney, and a Warner Studios tour but have the nights mostly free. Was poking around for theatre or various other nightlife activities and coming up short. Any suggestions for anything in the North Hollywood area that week? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
