"Humans "also announced a national tour.  As for "On the Town" ,I know it was said that it was going on tour, but I never saw anything about a tour for that show so did it go on tour? I hope that all of them you have listed go on tour.

The "On the Town" tour announcement was just like when you reply "'maybe" to an event invitation on Facebook. It ain't happening.

And just like the Honeymoon in Vegas tour. And the Amazing Grace tour.

because we need another tour of Fiddler....

A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.

Well, literally just two days ago, my father said that he wanted to see Fiddler again, so clearly there is a market for it.

Its not going out until 2018-2019, and it's a little too early to start a new thread, so I just tacked it on to the end of the original list for now. I'll start the next season's list closer to the Spring Road Conference.

I'm really anxious to hear about Deaf West Spring Awakening. That's my favorite show, and I'm worried that they might stray away from the East Coast when they are on their tour. Anxiously waiting to hear any new information on tour dates!!

It's probably not going to happen. Channel your worrying energy elsewhere.

I'd be surprised if the Spring Awakening tour still ends up happening. The show itself is a really tough sell to the general public. I'm also not sure how many people would really be interested in seeing a production featuring deaf performers.

They did tour Big River.

That's right! I don't know how Deaf West's production of Big River did on the road commercially, but at least the Broadway incarnation was presented by Roundabout, where Deaf West's production of Spring Awakening was a commercial production.

That tour isn't happening unless you're funding it.

At least Allegiance has already been presented at the movies to sold out venues.  And from what I've read  (comments) many people were still left out from seeing the show.  This show doesn't need to tour, I think they will be better off with a DVD to reach a wider audience of George and Lea fans and history minded people in the US, Canada and internationally!

And the cast of Shrek were all constantly assured that they would be staying open until at least the release of Shrek Forever After, right up until their closing notice was posted a good six months before the movie's release. Point being, unless that actor is also producing the show, they are incredibly unreliable as sources in regards to what is opening when, what is closing when, and what is actually going on tour.

Yes? It's only three stops (New Orleans, Houston, Chicago). So, not quite Bring it On level of tour, but a "tour" nonetheless.

Two of those announced for Houston (OYF and E2M) were the two I was waiting for. Updated list.

Vancouver just announced the season and it has to be one of the worst I've seen in a while:

Phantom of the Opera

The Sound of Music

Motown

Jersey Boys

ugh...can we maybe get some new shows. So disappointed

The Paramount Theatre in Seattle just announced its season:

2017/2018 Season Just Announced!

The Sound of Music on Tour

Aladdin - The Musical

The Bodyguard - Musical

Elf The Musical

Hamilton: An American Musical

Love Never Dies

Les Misérables Broadway

The Book of Mormon on Broadway - Season add on

The Phantom of the Opera - Season add on

We are getting a lot but it is kinda of a disappointing season. The 5th Ave in Seattle just did their own huge production of the Sound of Music, as well as the out of town try-out for Elf. Not to mention Book of Mormon and Phantom of the Opera were just here last year. I'm hoping the 5th gets a couple of more exciting tour shows.

I really feel like they took Hamilton and padded it with some inferior shows.  I've no inclination at all to subscribe this year unfortunately.  I too will look to 5th for some shows.
