Off the top of my head I can think of Finding Neverland.

Better examples--

John McMartin over the course of his illustrious career, but especially for FOLLIES in 1972

Jan Maxwell, ditto

PACIFIC OVERTURES in 1976

FOLLIES in 1972 and in 2012

Jerry Herman's score for MACK & MABEL

I was going to say Daniel Radcliffe too, for any of the three b'way shows (nominations, anyway) but am actually most fervent about his snub for Equus.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Next to Normal, The Color Purple, Wicked, Into The Woods, Pippin, Newsies, Matilda, Grease, West Side Story, and American Idiot should have all won Best Musical (fight me).

If/Then (instead of After Midnight), Tarzan (instead of The Wedding Singer), and Finding Neverland (instead of The Visit) should have all gotten nominated for Best Musical.

Sydney Lucas should have won Best Featured Actress for Fun Home.

Bernadette Peters should have won Best Featured Actress for Into the Woods.

Andrew Rannells and Rory O'Malley should have won for The Book of Mormon.

Sutton Foster should have won for Violet (I love Jessie but Sutton was life-changing).

Jonathan Groff should have won for Spring Awakening.

Anthony Rapp should have at least been nominated for Rent.

Well, most "famously", and in their own opinion, was perhaps Victor/Victoria.

Bridges of Madison county should e had after midnight a spot, the wedding singer and the visit are extraordinarily better than the two you listed.

I actually thought Kelli should have one that year.

Yes, but he still wasn't nominated for Wicked. At least his win for Assassins did seem like an acknowledgement to his entire body of work that season (especially since it was his first time ever working on musicals).

Bullets Over Broadway.....at least from the perspective of expectations leading to its opening.

I still liked it, and thought Marin Mazzie was great.

I never think of nominated shows or performers as being snubbed.

One could argue Sondheim's score for Forum not even being nominated, at least in retrospect.

Matilda won several Tonys, I don't think you can fairly say it was "snubbed."

Bridges of Madison County was inexplicably snubbed for Best Musical.  Steven Pasquale should have been nominated as Best Actor in a Musical.

I vote for Daniel Radcliffe, too.

In another thread about "favorite Tony performances", I wanted to add the Brotherhood of Man number from his production, but I was lazy.
