Thanks to Steve C for pointing out to me that her birthday was actually this past Sunday [ 4/3 ] and not this coming Sunday [ 4/10 ].

I would have posted this on my original thread but for some reason the link to post a reply is not functioning.

I have been informed that officials from Doris Day's Official Fan Club are on their way to revoke my membership for not remembering her birthday.

Sucks to be me.

You've established the day. Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to determine the year.

WikiPedia says 1924. Imdb says 1922. Which is correct?

Don't be so hard on yourself Carlos. You greatly reminded a lot of fans and others of Doris' great talent and contributions to musicals and being a jazz big band vocalist! Thanks again. Doris Day's Birthday

Her Biographer and records state she was born in 1922. However during her career she said 1924. It was not unusual for actresses to shave off a few years to get roles in that era. Shoot they even do it today as well!

Wether 92 or 94 she looks AMAZING!

Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!

Get yourself one of the many CD anthologies or greatest hits packages available and just let yourself go with that voice. "Secret Love" anyone? She's one of the best.

For the super fan, Ebay has 4 boxed sets for sale that contain, EVERY single thing she has ever recorded. From all the the big band things with Paul Westin and Buddy Clark bands, every single ever recorded from 1940 to 1970, movie songs and some dialogue, every one from her first film to her last, absolutely everything. I paid $500.00 for all 4 when they came out . The boxes range from 6 cds to 8 or 9 cds in each one. They have come down on Ebay but they are still $60-$!00. I don't regret buying it at all, (I should have bought more to re-sell). If you can afford that investment you won't be disappointed. I'm too young to have seen all the films when they came out, but they are great too.

She really appreciates the kindness of donations for animals. If you send a certain amount she will send you a nice little package included with her autograph.
