I was very surprised to see that Marc Shaiman married someone this past week. I thought he and Scott Whitmann were a couple both personally and professionally? Wondering if this means they will not be collaborating in the future. I hope they are happy, but part of me is sad about it. I will always remember their kiss when winning the Tony for Hairspray.

They are still involved with Charlie and choc, unless they quit as well.

That was my thought. Perhaps they will complete works in process and stop collaborating in the future. I always liked their work together but Shaiman obviously had a strong solo career before.
