Hi all.

I'm planning a trip to NYC this year during the week between Christmas and New Year's. I know that that is the busiest/most lucrative week of the year for Broadway and that most standard discounts are blocked out. Based on experience here, do these blackouts also apply to pre-booked student tickets offered through venues such as TIX4STUDENTS, HIPTIX, etc., or are those usually still offered during busy times?

Also, are the pickings slim at TKTS during that week as well? I'm fully expecting to pay full price for most shows, but I'm trying to decide if I should anticipate the availability of any discounts...

You should ask the main board this, you will get an answer that is much more comprehensive than this as many more people read that board, and plainly, I have no clue. Just be prepared for some snark.
