Has anyone gotten the $30 rush tickets to Disaster? Can you tell me how early you got there, and where your seats were? I'm coming to town in a week and on a super tight budget but am scared of heights. Thanks!
The first time I rushed was on a Sunday and got there at 12:15 and my seat was side orchestra. The second was a Tuesday and I got there at 5pm and the seat was second row center. And yesterday I got there at 9:40 and my seat was front row center.
i've got 99 problems and a revival of parade would solve like 94 of them
I rushed on Saturday (3/5) and got there around 11am and they had rushed tickets available still for matinee and evening. Got it for the evening and was 4 row side orchestra. Missed like a 30 second joke that was happening on stage right but that's it! The people in front of me got to the box office around 4:30 pm that day and were the row ahead of us so they were a little more partial view.
Wow that's good to know. Thinking about going next month and would like to do rush since it's so expensive. However there are 3 of us. If we all bought separately does anyone know if they would sell us seats next to each other?
That might be possible if you all approach the box office window together and if three seats next to one another have been allotted as rush for the performance you'd like to attend.
I got there at 1:30pm today for the 7:30pm show. There were four rush seats left. I got row D on the right hand side. Stamped partial view. I don't feel like I missed too much, though (I saw the show a few weeks ago from the last row of the mezzanine). They have definitely trimmed it down since I last saw it!

I've been walking past the theater every morning at around 9:30 on my way to work and the biggest number of people I've seen in line has been maybe about 6. It doesn't seem to be terribly difficult.
We went there today at 12:15 and got tickets for the 7:30 show. We got 3 pairs of tickets. Pretty good view. I absolutely loved the show. It was so funny and just a great night at the theatre. Go see this show!
I got to the box office today at 12:15 pm (Sunday where they open at noon). There was no line and I got a ticket for the matinee at orchestra Row H 2nd seat from the left near the wall (or the side curtain I should say). A little bit partial view but not too many was happening in the far left hand side on the stage so it's a steal for $30. And I'm so glad that I only paid $30 for this. So far it's the worst musical of the season (that officially opened - though I have yet to watch on your feet and school of rock).
Since I didn't want to start a new thread over this, and I'm guessing many of you have seen it recently - how long is the show running and would you recommend it for the 56 and over set? Looking for a show for my parents that they can see and get to Port Authority.
Does anyone know if the rush seats that are given out in the morning are in the front row? I went in previews and our rush tickets were in the first row. Thinking of going again and wondering what recent rushers seats were located.
Has anyone rushed recently? I'm planning on going next Saturday, but I'm not sure if this has gotten more popular and I'm wondering if I'd have to get there much earlier than the BO opening or if I can show up in the hours following to buy 2 tickets to the evening performance.

I wouldn't be worried if I was seeing it in the evening, but my friend is coming from Philly and will have to get back home. And I can't get into the city any earlier than the 12:00 train lol. I guess if they are out we will have to pay for the $70 seats :/
