I'm playing Tulsa in an upcoming production of Gypsy and am not sure what kind of shoes he wears for All I Need is the Girl. Does anyone have any info? Thanks!

Not to sound flip, but Capezios are your best bet. Basic black.

 

Regular street shoes aren't built for rigorous dancing like the one you've got and workout/running/tennis shoes are not period or at least their use then isn't.

 

Plus basic Capezios will last you through a whole lot of classes. Don't use them for street use except for a true occasion like the prom, your wedding or the like.

 

Try to get them in person. I truly feel that one does not buy shoes ever on line. This isn't like a pair of pants that can be altered.

 

Break a leg and have a blast.
