Pandora sure is the big dud in that group. A totally terrible caricature of Hillary. She's not nearly as deft as Katya, Jinkx, and especially Sharon.

Pandora was funny once when she impersonated Carol Channing, but she's not a skilled comedy queen, especially compared to some of the queens of later seasons.

What's Michelle's beef with Willam?

Willam has had a very open mouth about RuPaul as of late and as we know Michelle doesn't like that. Plus, Willam was originally going to be on the international side of the BOTS tour, but they decided to announce the line up before the contracts were actually signed and Willam ended up not signing and was very vocal about that.

But tomorrow night, I'm torn. I'm excited to see it happen, but I don't want her to be gone. We'll see how it all pans out.

Only 1/2 of the bottom two was who I thought it would be. The part that was supposed to be epic was apparently not true. Still. I don't know how that one keeps being safe... I don't know what I would do without Reddit.

How in the hell did Acid Betty get sent home? Her Nancy Grace was absolutely terrible, no question, but she's been so strong in every other challenge and at least she didn't wear a kimono. Naomi Smalls is gorgeous, but her looks are basic lingerie every single time and she was just as bad on Snatch Game. I was no big Betty fan, but that was a terrible call.

Derrick should have been safe rather than Top 3. Her Britney wasn't a trainwreck, but it was nowhere near the brilliance of Tatianna's Britney. I would have put Chi Chi as Top 3- she did surprisingly well by Earth Kitt and made me laugh a lot. Not that it would have changed anything because Bob killed this episode and fully deserved that win.

I was absolutely confused by the judges' praise of Derrick. There was no characterization! It was Derrick in a wig! Chi Chi's loopy cat Eartha Kitt and Kim Chi's gender-bent Kim Jung Un were far more surprising and much funnier.

So, this episode was a let down. I like that they're opening the options up for Snatch Game choices because it keeps it fun and interesting. I don't think this was Bob's win, it easily should of gone to Thorgy. Hell, I would accept KimChi's Kimmy Jong Un. But oh lawd, are the people on Tumblr going to go in on Thorgy tonight. Michael Jackson. Kimono. Dreads. It's gonna be a mess.

And lastly, Acid vs Naomi. What a crock of ****. I think Naomi is really hot as a boy, but that's about it. She's got the personality of a dish towel and her lingerie is boring. The fact that we lost Betty to that depresses me greatly. But at least this marks the beginning of The Real T w/ Acid Betty.

Bob snatched the Snatch Game without question. I was underwhelmed by Thorgy's MJ. I still love her, but if she doesn't pull off a series of wins, I can't see her taking the crown. I felt like Acid won that lip sync. All Naomi did was priss and preen. Acid had to work with that costume. Eh. I should be used to this with this show, but Acid brought something new and totally unique. I didn't like her straight out of the box, but man did she grow on me. *Off to watch Whatcha Packin*

 

Okay, Untucked has me emotional. I just loved Acid. I am in a bit of mourning, I am afraid.

Someone shared their experience this week at the live viewing Thorgy hosted. She said some great stuff, but my favorite thing was:

Said that there was a really strong bond between the NY girls wanting to go together to the top 3. What we didn't see was Bob was in tears on the runway when Acid Betty left; Thorgy cried later, backstage. In fact, Bob was really emotional on the show in general.

I agree that Acid Betty has a LOT more entertainment value to offer than Naomi Smalls; but just based on the lip synch they showed last night (and understanding that the editing of any reality show can be ENORMOUSLY deceitful), I'd have to say that Naomi's performance of that one song alone was better than Betty's. Betty was hampered by a terribly unwieldy costume, and also seemed rather blasé (or perhaps flasé-da).

Yeah, Betty seemed rather casual about the whole thing, she didn't seem prepared for the eventuality of having to lip-synch.  Just imagine if she'd faked labor and pulled a baby Madonna doll out of that huge preggers belly -- things would have ended very differently.

And Kimmy Jung Un was a stroke of genius.
