I got an email about two hours ago that they will be doing an online lottery just like the other shows in the Jujamcyn houses.  Tickets will be $35.

Has anyone tried rush for this production (in-person, not the digital lotto)?? I'm wondering if you have to get there at 10:00 am/where the seats would be located-- any info would be appreciated.

I fear that they may peddle the balcony seats to rush. The Walter Kerr has the WORST balcony section in all of Broadway.

Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." I went to the Saturday Matinee. I had an orchestra seat. But the line was full of teenagers who all had balcony seats. I thought I had gotten into the line for Wicked by mistake. I assume they were there to see Saoirse? Any way, I think the balcony sold out. You may be okay.

I can't even imagine Saoirse Ronan having a huge fanbase among teens. Sure she had some good success with Brooklyn just now, but besides that I don't remember her being in anything that huge. (The Lovely Bones and The Host weren't huge hits)

Atonement? It baffled me too.

I feel like I'll get there at 9am, wait for an hour and then when they hand me a balcony seat I'll just say "no." and walk out.

If there are rabid fans hanging around, I imagine it's for Ben Whishaw, not for Saoirse.

Interesting that they sold balcony to the people in the rush line first. If it's any help, my friend rushed for the both of us. She din't get there until 10:20, and we got Orchestra row N to the side.

Ben Whishaw has rabid fans? I know he's the draw for me but I find he's mostly unknown.

These girls weren't rushing, they had their tickets. Look on Ticketmaster, the balcony is full. If you rush, I think you will get orchestra or mezzanine tickets.

I think they are all rookies (Tavi Gevinson's Fanbase) Back When I saw This is our youth the crowd was like that as well, it chock full of tween and teen girls giddy over the prospect of seeing their "queen". She may not be the strongest actress but she certainly can fill seats. I Think That's probably why she was cast as Mary Warren in the first place. If her performance in this is our youth is any indication It Certainly wasn't due to her acting talent.

I think I know the girls you are talking about, my school did the Crucible this year, so they went to go see it this weekend.

But the digital lottery doesn't seem to be too hard to win, so I assume if you enter for a bunch of days you'll probably win at least one.

I rushed Saturday morning for Saturday night. Got in line at 9:30. Got row H on the far right side.

Any updates the past week? I won the online lottery for tomorrow matinee, but considering rushing instead to avoid the $10 total fee.

Is this show in very high demand for rush? Would I have to arrive an hour before 10am day of in order to guarantee a seat? Thinking of rushing tomorrow morning for the evening performance.

I rushed this morning and arrived to the Walter Kerr at 9:50am. I was the 17th person in line and got a ticket for first row mezzanine on the far left (A 21). My view was partially obstructed, but I really didn't miss anything overall. Seat is ten times better than the balcony, that's for sure. The first 8-10 people in line got seats on the far left/right of the orchestra.

Gonna bump this. I have very specific plans to rush on the 28th of this month. Has anyone been handed a balcony seat in rush?

I don't think so. Balcony seats have been sold to the general public via Ticketmaster. The seats that they have been offering to the rush line are located on the far left and far right sides of the orchestra and mezzanine. I
