Having been fortunate enough to see Lazarus in early January I was wondering if there has been any recent news on a release date for the recording that was apparently made earlier this month. As well does anyone know if it will be heading to Broadway anytime soon?
I heard that Michael C. Hall mentioned at a Drama League event that the cast will be getting together at the end of this month to listen to the album. He said the next step is probably London, not Broadway.
Sophie Ann Caruso recently tweeted that she's coming to Broadway soon. Any idea if she's referencing Lazarus? I can't wait for the cast recording...really enjoyed the show at the NYTW.
I was also fortunate enough to see this show when it was at the New York Theater Workshop and would like to know what is going on with it too. My big fear is what they will change about it if it goes to Broadway, as in I hope they don't dumb it down in order to make it more appealing to a mass market. It was a very unique show and a little too abstract for a casual theater audience. In respect to Bowie's memory I hope they don't ruin it. I'm looking forward to owning the CD, which will hopefully come out soon.
