Looking for a comic princess song. It can be from any broadway show, Disney movie etc. (Somthing like Happily Ever after from Once upon a mattress). It's for a Fairy tale show I'm directing with acting school students. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!!
I will admit that Mattress jumped into my mind immediately...but I thought of SHY. (BY a princess.)

"On The Steps of The Palace" from Into the Woods. (Also "Agony" for songs about a princess.)
It's not outright comedic but "In My Own Little Corner" from Cinderella
"The Simple Joys of Maidenhood" and "Then You May Take Me To The Fair" from Camelot
If you want to stretch the princess thing you could "Diva's Lament" from Spamalot or something from My Fair Lady (they pass her off as a countess or something.)
There's "My Strongest Suit" from Aida.
I can't think of a Disney princess with a really comedic song aside from something from Frozen. You could cheat a little with "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from Hercules. "Marry The Mole" from Thumbelina is a good comedic song but it's not very princess-y. The Swan Princess movie might have something you like. It has more comedic numbers but they might not work well out of context for a concert. The third movie also has "Bad Days Ahead" but again, it's a villain song, not a princess song.
This isn't about being a princess, but a girl, but it might fit the bill: How Lovely to bl from Bye-Bye Birdie. The real enjoyment of the song comes from the staging anyway....going from girl to tomboy, so maybe you could play with the physical idea.
Thanks for the catch of my mistake below! (Silly me!)

Otherwise, some other songs from Shrek might work if you have a male cast member to complete the scene: 'This is how a dream comes true'; 'I think I got you beat'.
'Lovely' from Forum isn't about a princess per se in context, but it might fit.
'Learn to do it' from Anastasia is about some charlatans coaching a commoner into passing herself off as a princess. It's not outright hilarious, but could make for some amusing interplay between the three characters.
'Stepsisters' Lament' from Cinderella has people bitching about a princess-to-be... it might work.
Not sure if this fits your bill, but how about "Happy Working Song" from Enchanted? I always found the scene in the movie hilarious but it's more of a visual gag, maybe you can work that in.
"Call Me A Princess", a cut song from Aladdin. It's a cut song from the movie when Jasmine was supposed to be a spoiled brat. It's was also cut from the musical in Toronto. In the musical, Jasmine was pretending to be a diva to scare off potential suitors.
Maybe I do not speak English as well as you, but I can perfectly pronounce the names of all characters of Les Misérables.
