Does anyone know where I can get a playbill for the current production of King and I? I took my mother last month and we left ours behind at the restaurant afterwards - and now I'm working on something special for her as a keepsake.
If you're in the area, I'm sure you could go to the theatre and explain, and bring your ticket or show your ticket/receipt on your phone. I don't think it'd be a big deal for them to spare you a playbill, worth a try anyway.
Considering people write to the stage manager and get signed Playbills for free, one imagines asking for an unsigned version would be rather easy. Just be sure to include a SASE that is big enough for the Playbill.
I'm pretty sure I have one in the trunk of my car with some other playbills from other shows that I saw back in June. I will double check tomorrow. However, you will have to pay for the postage and dollar store envelope to mail it. Upfront. Sorry, all it to took was for one person on here to burn me. Mine is the original cast with Ken, so it may not be the one you want.
I know years ago you used to be able to write to playbook and they would send you one for a small fee for postage. No idea if they still do it but might be worth a shot. Good luck.
