I misunderstood. Didn't even know what DCA stood for... Assumed it was referring to Denver. Dear father in Heaven, forgive me for this horrific sin I have committed. Shame on me for not knowing or caring about all the Disney theme park acronyms.
The DCA show opens in a few months..
The Lopez's have already stated that there will be no new songs in the DCA version.

Once you have proof to present for consideration, I'll be happy to review such baseless accusations. Until then... begone, Broadway Guy / Bilbo!

I am sorry for all the harm I have caused you and this board and I am willing to change. Some of my comments have been out of line and I don't blame you for thinking I am a troll. I have actually been apologizing to many posters on here today and I really would like to repent for my shenanigans. I hope we can be civil from now on and I hope you accept this apology. If you don't than I will understand. Have a good day.

"So the DCA isn't the pre broadway run but a separate production?"
In answer to broadwayboy....
Yes, you are correct. The Disneyland (California Adventure) theme park show is replacing the Aladdin show and is a 45 minute brand-new production. I'm not sure if they'll adopt some of the staging from this for the tryout.. but I'm sure we'll be all watching carefully to see how it turns out.

What are your sources?
The Shubert would work well.
Disney normally has a great working relationship with the Nederlanders, so I doubt it's the Shubert.
Okay, if BaileyBoo ain't messing around, then there are six theatres on 44th Street: the Majestic, the Broadhurst, the Shubert, the Belasco, the St. James, and the Helen Hayes.
Phantom isn't going anywhere, and Disney ain't going anywhere near the tiny Hayes.
This leaves the Broadhurst (where Tuck Everlasting hasn't even begun previews yet), the Shubert (where Matilda may potentially be nearing its end, though I doubt it), the St. James (where Rotten! isn't doing bad but not too great), and the Belasco (which honestly seems like a very strange house for Disney to move a show into). If it's actually going on 44th Street, I predict the Shubert (though the St. James could easily be viable).

I would love this to go into the St. James. It's a fantastic space.
Did no one see my previous post?

People read your post, but they think the poster who said it will go into a theatre on 44th street is correct.

Yes, we see it. It has also already been said that this will not go to a Nederlander house. It is also not a requirement for Disney to utilize their venues. I wouldn't be surprised if they were partnering up with Jujamcyn and taking the St. James.
