The St. James is the only theatre where I have slipped on someone else's non-cleaned-up doody. (It was during Side Show, though.)

The toilet paper bit is supposed to be about the environment. How much it helps is debatable
The Dasani bit is easy. Like people will sell their children to tickets for The Show for bragging rights, buying bottled water is a status symbol as well. There are stories that some bottled water is good old tap water but you cannot tell that to some people. I can see them stranded in a desert begging for water when someone offers them non bottled water. They would rather die of thirst than drink plain water.
