BODY, BREATH & MOMENT  with Brandi-lea Harris and Danny Mitarotondo

Tuesday nights 6.30pm - 9.30pm February 23 - March 29  

Regardless if you are performing on-stage, or in front of the camera, in material that is naturalistic, or heightened - the goal of being connected, spontaneous, alive, and expressive hinges on being "in the moment". Undoubtedly that is where the magic happens; but how do we craft the skill of showing up fully and being fully present in the moment, in our bodies, and in the material? 

Join Brandi-lea Harris and Danny Mitarotondo on a six-week journey to radically transform your work through your connection to your self and "the moment". Each session of this unique workshop will be co-taught through explorations of Fitzmaurice voice-work, Yoga, physical acting exercises, moment work, and text. This class is designed to give you practical tools to connect more fully to your impulses and to express them through your body and voice with a greater range and ease in your acting.

PRIMETIME Weekend Intensive  with Jennifer Rau, Danny Mitarotondo & Brandi-lea Harris

Saturday & Sunday February 20 & 21 (11:30AM - 6:00PM)

Join The Collective Jennifer Rau, Brandi-lea Harris and Danny Mitarotondo for a weekend of intensive acting training focused on Primetime drama. This workshop will integrate on-camera work, voice, and movement to provide an intensive and invigorating experience that targets your specific goals and challenges. This workshop is geared to experienced actors who seek to sharpen their skills and reinvigorate their craft.

 

 Weekend Intensive Fee $250

COMEDY AUDITION WORKSHOP: Sitcoms, Single-camera, Sketch 

with Actor/ Writer/ Teacher, Groundlings Alum, MADtv writer and series regular  Nelson Ascencio 

Saturdays & Sundays March 12, 13, 19, 20 (11:30AM - 6:00PM)

This exciting two-weekend intensive will include on-camera comedy audition work Nelson Ascencio and Movement/ Physical Acting work with Brandi-lea Harris of The Collective. This special workshop is developed to help you re-invigorate your approach to auditioning and working on comedic material.

Workshop Fee $325
