Has anyone rushed "Misery" at all? Haven't been able to find any details about it other than price.

I don't believe there is a rush policy. It pops up on TodayTix for a reasonable price every now and then, though.

Only a student rush, so no idea about it since I am not (nor am currently dating) a student.

I haven't done the rush, but I would guess that it isn't too difficult to get a ticket. The show isn't selling very well, and as this thread demonstrates, there are some who don't even know the rush exists. I might be wrong, but I'd wager that you'll have no problem getting a ticket, especially if you arrive a little early just to be safe (like 9am or even 9:30).

This is just an estimate based on their ticket sales and my years of rushing shows. If anyone HAS done the rush who has more accurate info, feel free to jump in.

They have a rush policy...but it's a student rush i stopped by the box office around 11 after rushing  Dames At Sea two weeks ago and they sold me a rush ticket they said nobody knew they had rush so they didn't sell out

I rushed Something Rotten on Sunday, and by the time the box office opened, there were only two people in line at Misery.

Isn't that more evidence that the notion of student-only rush is very limiting?  All rush, as I have suggested on this board many times, should be general.  Younger enthusiasts will invariably arrive before the older folks, so no students will likely miss out.  And opening rush up to everyone means greater $$ for the producers.  So it's a win-win.  Producers, please take note!

I wanna try to see the show this Saturday at 2 for rush. Does anyone think it might be a little more crowded then people have been saying since it's the shows closing weekend? I just don't know when I should get there.

I'd just try to get there around 9-9:15 to be safe. Just make sure you have your student ID w/ you.

My unemployed, under-25 nephew tells me he wants to see MISERY.  He is not currently a student.  Does anyone know if simply being under 25 -- and not enrolled in college --  allows the person to buy a rush ticket with an ID as proof of age?  I'd like to give him verified info before he travels in from Long Island.  Thanks,

Misery closed last week, so he's a bit too late.

Huh, I should have checked what's still running first.  Surprised I didn't remember that closing.  Thanks.
