yes they are. Either way the sheriff is done after this season. Either Norman kills him off or the feds come after him & throw him in jail.

A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.

Poor Norma, she's had a rough life. And now, when she's really in love, she'll end up losing her husband. BTW, I think there's a lot of chemistry between them. It could be real, or just fine acting!

See, I think Norman will off him and the Feds will just think he is on the lamb. Perfect excuse for them not tracking his disappearance on Norman. Much like how they justified Emma's mother disappearance.

They are not going to kill the sheriff!! He is a major character in the ensemble. I wish Norman would move out of the house, get a job at Wendy's and let his mother enjoy the rest of her life with the sexy sheriff.

Finally caught up with last weeks episode. oh boy! That family outing for the tree! That visit to Romero "please tell the sheriff his wife’s son is here to see him!" Norman steals Emmas Teddy Bear! Just when you think it can not get any creepier, Norman spies on his Mom having s*x!!

The fact that Norman, i mean Freddie wrote the show makes it all that creepier!

Wow what an episode. I was glued to the screen. So well directed and shot. Again I have to mention the greatness which is Freddie Highmore. Did you all notice the different expressions on his face as his emotions took over when he tried on Mrs. Carmody's coat? Incredible.

I doubt she's dead. Not happening this season, but damn this episode was fantastic. Can't wait to see how it all ends next Monday.

Ditto. Without the interplay between her & Norman why bother watching. I thought the sheriff would be gone. Next week it should be a real great way to end the season. The problem is than twofold. We have to wait forever for the next season but the bigger problem is knowing it will be the end.

I think she is actually dead but will remain on the show of course, since Norman is always imagining her talking to him. There is only one more season left, so it makes sense.

I don't know... How many times can he try to kill Norma? It will be pretty creepy though, if she is dead and continues on mentoring Norman. He will go very much off the deep end once he begins to realize his whole situation.

yes, the fifth season will be the final season. Curious to hear how they'll end the series & maybe they'll remake the movie version with Highmore & Farmiga.

Remake of the original would be a mistake. No matter how good this cast is, trying to remake an original movie classic usually ends up as a disaster. In Psycho's case, it has already happened with disastrous results

I can see during the last season Norman and the female embalmer becoming good buddies.
