How large is the crowd lately? They offer the lottery for every show, correct? 2.5 hours before curtain?

Thanks

I did Sunday and it wasn't too terrible. I'm bad at estimating crowds, but there didn't seem to be more than a handful of people stepping into the street (which has happened).

And they draw 2 hours before curtain, but the barrel comes out 2.5 hours before.

Thanks. Did you win? If not, did you end up seeing anything that night?

No, but I saw the show anyway since I was in standing room.

I did it on Saturday Dec 11  for the matinee there were about 30-40 people.

A friend went on Sat Dec 18 for the evening show and said there were around the same amount of people.

sorry totally forgot to add the most important part! no we didnt win either time. When I was there on Dec 11, maybe around 20-30 tickets were given out. Standing room is very easy to. get and since each act is essentially an hour, and you're laughing so much, standing is much easier than say at Dear Evan Hansen.

Has anyone tried this recently? Or what about the digital lottery? Where are the seats?

I don't think there is a consistent area for the digital lotto seats. They're kind of everywhere. I once got a semi-limited view, extreme house right pair when I won, and when a friend won, we were in the mid-mezz. When another friend won, somehow she was in the front row when usually those are reserved for the in-person lotto.

When I won the online lottery it allowed me to pick from a bunch of seats, mostly side mezzanine and boxes... it was done through Ticketmaster and it's considerably pricier than the in person lottery...

You mean the $50 lottery, right? I was referring to the $32 twitter lottery -- sorry for not being clear.
