I don't think she's yet the right age for it but I recently saw a college production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and thought gosh Lesli Margherita would be perfect as the chaperone.
I believe he was actually offered the role for the recent Broadway production, but turned it down because he didn't want to do drag every night. He would have been so phenomenal.
Alison luff as Anastasia. Brian Darcy James as King Arthur is spamalot. Audra McDonald as Nettie fowler. Sasha allen as Nala.

I think Patti LuPone would have been a spectacular Elphaba in her day, had the show existed then. Bernadette Peters would have been a superb Glinda as well. It's too bad they'll never do that show.
Annaleigh Ashford as Fanny Brice is one I consistently bring up on here. I'm really hoping she gets tapped for the first Broadway revival. And while I'm on Ashford, she's also been wanting to do "Sweet Charity" for awhile, and I'd kill to see that happen.
They/them.
"Get up the nerve to be all you deserve to be."
The thing is, besides being an utter toad of a human being, Riedel usually has the least knowledge of the topic in the room. He doesn't usually understand the content or approach of a show, and is always completely and unfailingly socially ignorant, which makes it really infuriating when Susan can't get a word in edgewise. A definitive mansplainer; it's always painful when he has female guests. I watch the show sporadically when I really want to see a guest, because it's the only theatre talkshow we have, but it would be so much better without this hateful clown in a dadcoat. Patti was up for the witch in the original production but wanted to be Cinderella. I think she could still do the witch. I would kill to see her in that part.
I think Patti actually could have been a great Cinderella. In the late 70's she had that ingenue look (and was beautiful in The Baker's Wife). By the time Into the Woods happened she probably was already well-known for belting all her leading men, and she would have been thrilling as the Witch (or possibly even the Baker's Wife). Hell, Patti LuPone could have played most parts on Broadway and probably would have been wonderful.
